EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HEMP FLOWERS
Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, is an active ingredient found in the hemp plant, just like the much better known THC (the psychoactive and narcotic substance of cannabis). CBD is extracted from the leaves and flowers of the female hemp plant. It is important to note, however, that unlike THC, CBD has no psychoactive effect, i.e. it does not cause any alteration of consciousness. Here at Hemproutine, the CBD products we offer meet all the legal requirements of the European Union. In fact, all the products we offer contain less than 0.2% THC.

HEMP FLOWERS: WHY CBD?
Many people use CBD for various problems. The effects of CBD can be: analgesic, anti-inflammatory and relaxing. John Hopkins University (USA), for example, showed in a study that the use of CBD could help people with a wide variety of health problems, from chronic pain to anxiety. CBD has been able to improve the quality of life of people suffering from the aforementioned problems.
HOW IS CBD PRODUCED?
The CBD extract is naturally obtained from the hemp plant by CO2-based extraction. To ensure high quality CBD and to comply with guidelines, CBD can only be obtained from crops that are certified to meet EU standards.
CBD isolate is chemically produced. Cannabidiol is extracted from the hemp plant and purified to produce CBD crystals with a CBD content of 99.9%. These crystals can then be dissolved in oils or alcohol to create CBD oil.
The isolated material contains pure cannabidiol. While this may seem like an advantage at first, CBD extract has the advantage of entourage effects over CBD isolate. The theory of the entourage effect is the synergistic phenomenon that occurs when different compounds of the cannabis plant work together to produce a powerful compound effect. Each element of the cannabis plant can enhance the natural properties of other elements of the same plant.
According to the WHO (World Health Organization), CBD does not show any effect in humans that indicates a potential for addiction. In other words: CBD is not addictive. Furthermore, according to the WHO, CBD is safe. There is no evidence that the recreational use of CBD is harmful to health. In fact, there is already a CBD-based drug that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of epilepsy in several clinical trials. You can find the WHO report here.

USE OF CANNABIDIOL FOR HEALTH DISORDERS
We have previously described the various benefits of CBD for consumers. Since the inception of Hemproutine, we have noticed that even initially skeptical customers who have never tried CBD before have experienced positive effects. Additionally, some of our customers have ordered and used CBD for its potential analgesic effect on menstrual pain. CBD is also a popular stress and anxiety reducer, and can help with some sleep problems due to its relaxing effect.
CAN CBD AND HEMP FLOWERS HELP IN SPORTS?
CBD is also used in sports. Many of us are used to sore muscles and soreness after an intense workout. The potential antioxidant effect of cannabidiol helps fight free radicals that cause inflammation. Some athletes use CBD to relieve aching muscles and soreness. Some also try to reduce the sensitivity of past injuries and relax after training. A European Journal of Pain study on rats showed that CBD helped them reduce inflammation. In the United States, due to the relatively popular use of CBD for sports purposes, CBD protein powders are already available.
For sports enthusiasts, we recommend using our CBD Sport Oil
HEMP FLOWERS: IS CBD USED ELSEWHERE?
CBD is also used for cosmetic purposes such as weight loss and in cosmetics to combat acne. However, CBD can not only have positive effects on humans, it can also help animals with pain, digestive problems and stress, among other things.
